The house rule

Ice cream makes everything better.

Ice cream is the heart of the shop. Coffee, croissants, cakes, waffles: you can add a scoop to anything on the menu. Pick a base and see what happens.

A croissant + a scoop = Croissant Ice Cream Sandwich

A croissant baked here that morning with butter from France, split down the middle and filled with a big scoop of whichever flavour you like. Croissants and ice cream are Can's two favourite things, so he put them together.

  • Baked every morning
  • French butter
  • Any flavour

The ice cream

16 flavours. Fresh every day.

“At its core, ice cream is just cream, eggs and sugar,” says Can. “There should not be any ingredient I can't understand.” Ours is churned in the back from whole ingredients, alongside bright fruit sorbets.

A few regulars from the case. Tap one to add a scoop.

The full line-up of 16 rotates, so ask what's in today or check @puuffybakery on Instagram (opens in a new tab).

    Meet the chef

    Can Montana.(Say it like “John”.)

Can grew up in Adana, Türkiye and walked into a pastry kitchen at thirteen. He apprenticed at Mado, learned to sculpt cakes in Istanbul, ran kitchens in Cyprus and won gold and first place at international competitions, where the trade started calling him Pasta Canavarı, the Cake Monster.

Puuffy is the first shop under his own name. He still makes everything himself, by hand, from scratch.
